SCHOOL PARTNERSHIPS

Is your school looking to support a cause that can also educate students about social and environmental responsibility? We offer a range of opportunities to learn about the issues of food waste and poverty in Hong Kong and to make a difference through fundraising and volunteering.

WHAT WE OFFER

A unique learning experience

Join one of our “Meet & Greet” sessions and warehouse tours for a unique insight into how an environmental problem can be turned into a social solution.

Leadership development

Become an FHK Student Ambassador and learn about commitment, responsibility and leadership through organising food drives and fundraisers.

Opportunities for community service

Work collaboratively and join the fight against hunger and food waste in Hong Kong through one of our hands-on volunteer activities.

WAYS TO GET INVOLVED

  • Volunteer

Every Tuesday and Thursday night we need your help to rescue end of day surplus from bakeries across Hong Kong. Sign up for the Bread Run today!

  • Intern

Are you an undergraduate student passionate about environmental and social issues? Apply for an FHK internship and gain valuable work experience whilst making a difference.

  • Host a food drive

Organise a food drive and generate additional, nutritious food for frontline charities feeding vulnerable people in Hong Kong.

  • Fundraise

Host a fundraiser and help us ensure that surplus food goes to feed people not landfills. Every HK$100 donated will support 20 meals for someone in need.

  • Spread the word

Interested in organising an exhibition or creating a video? Put on your creative hat and help us raise awareness about food waste, hunger and food banking our city.
